CUEE, Discussed on 105.9, Frank Barus Radio Program with Mr. Sam Alllen, Former Valdosta City School Superintendent School System "CITIZENS CONTINUES TO BE IGNORED BY PUBLIC OFFICIALS"

105.9 FM Radio Station, Black Crow Media!
Mr. Frank Barnus interviewed:  Former Valdosta City School System Former Superintendent Sam Allen Frank!  This interview took place on Black Crow Radio, FM 105.9, on May 4, 2011.
I was once again disappointed in Valdosta-Lowndes County Elected Officials informing some of the people but not all of the people.  This pattern and practice of keeping the majority of our citizens ignorant to what goes on at public meetings in our community does not serve all citizens here in the South Georgia area.
I am not referring to Mr. Sam Allen but Councilman Carroll that inform the smaller segment of citizens on all ITEMS on the Valdosta City Council Agenda for May 5, 2011.  This pattern and practice has existed for over eight years and I question of our elected officials have not VIIOLATED their oath.
Mr. Barnus, Question:  IF WE DON’T HAVE HIS; HOW CAN EDUCATION BE IMPROVED?  ARE THRE OTHER OPTIONS THAT MAYBE THE CUEE GUYS ARE OVERLOOKING?
Mr. Same Allen:  RESPONSE:  There are lots of options that we all are overlooking.  Education is not a perfect creature.  Public school are not perfect.
-           Until your economics is improved in your communities education will not improve.  You can see it time in and time out.
-
-          When a community is empowered and has a strong economic back ground education improves also.

-          Until business and industries starts taking businesses and jobs to those impoverished areas; then you are not going to see any improvements.

-           Parents that they are talking about helping those children; those parents are not interested in education as the top of their priority.

-          They are interested in how they are going to feed their children.

-          How they are going to pay their rent.  They are interested in those things.  So if business can take an active role and in empowering this group of people.

-          They are trying to help academically and educationally was given their parent’s jobs and their parents would therefore become active parents in our educational arena…..”

S.C.L.C. President Floyd Rose Asked Questions to CUEE Member Ruth Council and she responded in kind during the Democratic Party Meeting!

And now the rest of the story!
